UBQ000158:  Copying Restore Logs in UBDR

This article details the process of copying a restore log to a network path in UBDR.


After completing a restore, the UltraBac restore logs can be copied to a network path for archival, troubleshooting, or other purposes.


  1. Click "Tools" / "UBDR" / "Map Network Drive" to create a connection to any Windows 7/8/2003/2008/2008R2/2012 system.

  1. Enter a UNC path as a Share Name.
  2. Enter a User name, password, and domain name (if necessary) into the appropriate fields, and click "Connect."
  3. Go to "Tools" / "UBDR" / "Command Prompt".
  4. In the command prompt, type "z:" and press Enter.
  5. Type "CD logs" and press Enter.
  6. Type "copy *.* y:\".
