All tests were performed in a controlled environment, using a Compaq Eight-way Alpha Server 8400 with 625 MHz processors, 8GB memory, 128 disk drives, 32 AIT tape drives and a 263GB Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Database that was constructed to approximate a live data environment. |
UltraBac offers many advantages over using the SQL Server Native backup including:
- Image backup and disaster recovery for both Intel & Alpha machines
- Integrated backup with regular scheduled network backup
- Shared tape device use
- Superior technical support
- RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3 and 5
- Microsoft Cluster Server compatible
