UB-DP Includes: UB-DP Server Edition
UltraBac's UBDR Pro Integrated Server Agent provides local or remote image-based backup of Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT machines. UBDR Pro can backup an image of a disk partition to any local or remote tape device or to any local or remote UNC disk path. The agent backs up all hidden and active partition types including 'extended' and live operating system partitions. UBDR Pro gives administrators the ability to recover an operating system partition directly from any network share using nothing more than a single CD. Simply insert the universal UBDR Pro CD, boot, invoke a restore of the image from tape or network UNC path, and reboot. For added protection, image files may also be encrypted if desired when backed up and recovered with UBDR Pro. Requires a form of UB-SS (Single Server). |

UB-DPC Includes: UB-DP Workstation Edition UBDR Pro Integrated Workstation provides the same great protection as the server version, but for the individual computer. Image-based backups are performed on the Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT workstation. Simple recovery of an operating system is performed using a single CD. Requires UB-CWC (Corporate Workstation). |

UB-DG Includes: UB-DG Server Edition
UBDR Gold represents the latest in disaster recovery technology, offering more advanced features and options than UBDR Pro. Gold can cold boot any machine and perform either an image or file based backup to literally any local or remote storage device, including media libraries, TSM servers, and FTP devices. Back up all hidden and active partition types including 'extended' and live operating systems. Recover a "dead" machine in minutes (up to 3GB/min) by booting from the universal UBDR Gold CD. Simply insert the universal CD, boot, browse, click on the saved image, restore, and reboot.
Perform dissimilar hardware restores with Gold's physical-to-physical (P2P) disaster recovery feature. In addition, UBDR Gold is the first Windows backup software to offer physical-to-virtual (P2V) based disaster recoveries. Along with support for virtual-to-virtual (V2V) and virtual-to-physical (V2P) recoveries, Gold provides users with every available disaster recovery option. Both the backup and restore process can be fully scripted for 100% unassisted recoveries. Agents for TSM, FTP, and media libraries are additional cost options.
UBDR Gold can coexist with any backup solution as a stand-alone license, or it can be integrated with an existing UltraBac backup license. This Integrated Server Agent requires an UltraBac server license, which contains a backup engine. More . . . |

UB-RLSA / UB-RLSA-3 Includes: Remote & Local Windows XP/2000/NT Server Agent - Single or 3-pack licensing
Remote / Local Server Agent compresses data on a local machine before it is transferred over the network, thereby increasing backup speed and decreasing network overhead. The RLSA also captures System State and Active Directory (for domain controllers) on a local or remote Windows 2000 machine (note that a crashed domain controller cannot be restored without Active Directory). |

UltraBac Locked File Backup Agent backs up exclusively locked files or a file to which XP/2000/NT can not gain access to while open, such as a WINS database or local PST files. When UltraBac uses the Locked File Backup Agent it temporarily "freezes" the partition and backs up all the data on the drive whether or not the data is locked by another application or service. Users can also access the temporarily "frozen" partition while it is being backed up. |

UltraCopy provides any company with the ability to perform disk-to-disk-to-tape backups. While UltraBac performs the disk-to-disk backup, UltraCopy then takes the backup saved to disk and makes a tape copy. This gives businesses the ability to use any disk and tape hardware combination rather than having to buy a more expensive dedicated unit. UltraCopy may also be used to duplicate tapes between tape drives, and take multiple disk backups, copy and consolidate them in their native UltraBac format to tape with built-in media spanning. The program also has a command line interface for integrating the copy function into unattended backup operations. |

UB-TVA Includes: UB-TVA
The UltraBac Tivoli Storage Manager Device allows UltraBac to write data to a Tivoli Storage Manager server, where Tivoli's unique storage management features can be leveraged alongside UltraBac's rich client-level backup strengths. UltraBac manages the administration of the backup and restore processes, while Tivoli manages the media that these backups are written to. This allows users with existing Tivoli Storage Manager installations to utilize these processes for their backups, as well as providing an avenue for UltraBac users desiring enterprise-level media management facilities to combine the strengths of UltraBac and Tivoli offerings. The device is built atop the Tivoli Storage Manager API for a robust interface with the Tivoli Storage Manager architecture, and has been qualified for TSM API levels 4.2 and above. |

UB-FTA Includes: UB-FTA
The UltraBac FTP Device provides UltraBac with the ability to direct backups to any FTP server compliant with the RFC 959 specification. This makes configuring an offsite backup location extremely easy. An FTP server with sufficient storage (even non-Windows hosts) is all you need. The requirements to configure UltraBac's FTP Device capability are very minimal: an address to a live FTP server, a valid login, and a server-interpreted path specifying where the data should be stored. The FTP Device is integrated seamlessly with UltraBac's Device Manager, thereby allowing the use of heterogeneous storage devices as backup media. |
