TECH TIP - ONE STEP RESTORES
Using the UltraBac Image Disaster Recovery Agent, you can store the full image of a server to a storage device and as many incremental images
(which will just be the changed bits since the last incremental) to the same storage device. These incrementals may be on your schedule,
whether it is on the hour, half-day, or daily. Then, if the need arises to roll back an image of that server to a point-in-time, use our UBDR
Gold program to select the last incremental backup of your choice. UltraBac will automatically replace the full image and all incrementals up
to that point. Boot, perform one restore, reboot, and that's it!
We at UltraBac Software believe that this is a fundamental restore strategy, where UltraBac always stores full images and incrementals as
separate files. We never "melt" an incremental into the full. This guards against the full image becoming corrupted.
