HELPFUL USER TIP
To perform a remote restore using UltraBac’s UI:
- Boot machine remotely
- with assistance of remote user placing in CD
- by using PXE/RIS
- by using DRAC/iLo/RSA
- Once machine has booted, accept EULA, and connect to network. By placing cursor at bottom right of screen on top MININT-XXX you will see its IP address.
- Start up your copy of UltraBac Management Console.
- Go into Tools\Options\General and ensure "Show Advanced Options" is checked.
- Click on "Connect To," and type in the IP address that you found above.
- Once you are connected, you can then perform the restore operations, and even disk operations as if you were on the local computer.
