UltraBac Updates Backup and DR Software
UltraBac Software released UltraBac version 8.0, backup and disaster recovery
software. Major new features include: UltraCopy for creating duplicate media for
off-site storage, barcode media pool support, differential image backup and
native 64-bit support for both Intel and AMD processors. The company says
UltraCopy has two major benefits. The first is to allow duplication of tape- or
disk-based backups to media for off-site removal and storage. The second benefit
is that it enables the consolidation of multiple disk or tape backups to
virtually any other removable storage medium.
