UltraBac has the ability to perform job command before a backup begins, during the backup process before & after each set processed by the backup and again after the backup completes. The purpose of this functionality is to allow UltraBac users the ability to perform "housekeeping" activities, e.g. closing key database applications, composing dynamic backup sets, reopening databases, chaining multiple backups together and any other job, step, function or process required to completely backup the system.
