BEI's Autoloader driver supports automatic cleaning using cleaning tapes. Use the "Tools"/"Preferences"/"Media Changer" option path and select "Automatically use cleaning tape" to activate Cleaning Tape Support during unattended backups. Use the "Select"/"Storage Device"/(Click on the down arrow next to the "Show" list box)/"Tape"/(Highlight a tape device)/"Edit"/"Cleaning Interval (Hours):" option path to set the number of hours between cleanings.

Use the "Cleaning Interval (Hours)" text field to define the number of hours between cleanings. Set this field on a per drive basis.
In the "Cleaning tape slot" text field specify which slot the cleaning tape is in. UltraBac automatically loads the cleaning tape as needed. Slots are "1" based.
Use the "Reset" option to reset the number of minutes since the last cleaning for the drive to zero.
