BEI's Autoloader driver supports Autoloader Control. Set the active storage device to the autoloader – each autoloader can be controlled separately. Then use the option path "Tools"/"Media Changer to display the following:

Figure 58: Autoloader Control
The Autoloader Controller move tapes between the storage elements (slots), mailboxes and drives through a simple dialog. Simply drag and drop medium between the elements and/or use the option buttons.

The "Refresh" option updates the window with the current information from the autoloader. If you select "Initialize" select this to reload the data. Also select this when initially entering the autoloader control.
The "Eject" option Eject media from the currently selected drive. If your autoloader has mailboxes the medium will be placed in the first empty mailbox otherwise it will be placed in the first empty slot. If you want to select the destination slot use the "Move" option.
The "Move" option Move the medium between the elements of the autoloader.
The "Import" option Move the selected media from the mailbox into the available slots.
The "Export" option Move the selected media into the first available mailbox slots.
The "View Info" option View the header and device information for the selected media - same as selecting View Media Information.
The "Goto" option Locate a specific element (Drive, Slot, Mailbox) in the list.
