SUMMARY:
DETAILS:
The "Integrated GUI Image Recovery" can be used to restore either a partition or a disk as long as it is not the boot/operating system partition or disk. The basic steps are:
Replace the failed hard drive.
Within UltraBac define the new hard drive as an image storage device (If it is assigned a drive letter, un-assign it.) Note: For a partition restore you must define a partition image device.
After making sure you have inserted the correct storage media into the source storage drive (if applicable), start UltraBac.
Make sure the correct storage device has been selected. UltraBac's Main Window Screen will display the active storage device on the Title line and "Ctrl-t" is a hot key for direct access to the "Select Device" dialog box.
From UltraBac's main menu, select "Mode" and choose "Restore".
